Magazine USP
My Music magazine is a Rock and Indie Rock themed magazine. it is aimed at a young audiance who spend alot of money on material goods, the generation "Whatever". It's focus is on new bands with unique styles but are influanced by older styles. It has an upbeat tone, not as hard as Kerrang but not so soft as Mixmag, hence the use of multicolour but hard solid text.

How i made my front cover
Front Cover Screen Shots
I created my front cover one step at a time, first altering my eye colour to blue for attractivness and then layering text on over the top. I made a border to make my mast head stand out, and changed the text colour as the light shifts from light on the left, to dark on the right hand side. Lastly I added a yellow box to stand the text out and also the barcode and price.

These College/Unversity magazines have main features that appieal to students. Some are sports related, a huge part of student life, others are more academic, they focus around student issues. Many have the main image of women, which appea to students.
